Sicilian style restaurant as the owner is the Sicilian Salvatore. Small in stature and all so round. The family works. But everything depends on dad. Good wine. Nice kitchen. For a daytime snack with extras just right.

The local is really easy to get to! The convenient transport links make a visit easy. I can highly recommend the restaurant! The dishes are nicely prepared and are always warm. Super great and friendly service. I think all the staff did a great job there.

Like a little trip to Italy! From the outside inconspicuous, but very authentic Italian trattoria atmosphere and great food. The house wine is also unusually good. We recommend!

The shop itself is very reduced, but it makes the super pizza gone, I'm thrilled and haven't eaten such a good pizza for a long time.

Small cozy Italian restaurant in the heart of Hamburg. I was able to reserve the table online in advance, which was also good. We had a lasagna and one spaghetti bolognese. Both dishes were delicious. The owners are very friendly and very welcoming. We will be back definitely.

Pasta and pizza was good, and perhaps more than good. The Bolognese was ok, but not more. The owners/staff was very friendly, took their time to take order.

Doesn't think it's necessary to update its Google opening hours. Closed during lockdown.

Perfect tiny italian restaurant

Very nice here! You feel like you are in Italy! The food tastes good, the conditions are friendly, and the prices are moderate. You shouldn't be put off by the aging shop front, a visit is really worth it.

Great food, really recommendable. But you should make a reservation as the location is not very big.

A Bavarian must first come to Hamburg to find such a jewel. Inconspicuous from the outside, and zag through the door and you are in Italy ? Small, cozy shop with great service and excellent food. If you could give 6 stars, I would do it here. Simply great?

Delicious! The price performance ratio is very good. The service is friendly to the customers and also advises the guests in detail if they have any questions. The food was ready quickly, warm and delicious. The restaurant is also very comfortably furnished.

Loved this little restaurant where the staff speak Italian. The place was not fancy, jammed packed and noisy. Great! Main thing is the pasta and pizza were delicious and the working folk prices.

La Forchetta is one of the best places in town to have pasta, especially shrimp pasta. They have a special way of cooking this dish: you can taste the shrimps and the amazing-i-don't-know-what-they-put-in-it pasta sauce. The two don't cancel each other out, but work together to make magic. The staff is friendly, and fast, and extremely professional. What is most amazing about the restaurant is the deco and setting. It gives you the full Italian restaurant experience: pictures on the walls, especially pictures of Salvatore (the owner or founder) and famous people; the cabinet with liqueurs and glasses.

Reserved for a group of eight, which was good because it was busy and not very big. The owners were very nice and funny and had our order of 7 pizza's and 1 pasta dish ready within 10 minutes. Would highly recommend

Place has all the recipes for success with a great Italian vibe but the main course items fell short.. gnocchi in tomato sauce tasted like canned concentrated paste and the mushroom cream pasta taste very heavily of just cream.

Nice, simple and good value

We came here with an empty belly and the resto certainly did not disappoint us. I really liked the pan fried oyster mushroom with garlic, though I was disappointed by the octopus potato salad, it was not fresh, the octopus tasted a bit stale. The two pasta main dish were fine. We were delighted by the anana sorbet served in a pineapple.

Right in the middle of the city, yet on a small street. Typical Italian bistro, chequered table cloth... In the warmer months there's a few tables out front. It's a smallish place inside so be prepared to wait. Try the Viagra Pizza!!!

The service was friendly The food was fresh Considering how small the place was their menu had a good selection of items (a normal printed menu plus about 8 daily specials) The place is small, so you'll be sitting close to other people /tables, but that wasn't a problem for us
